Kevin was brought up in the Roman Catholic Church and attended RC schools in London. At age 16 he renounced Roman Catholicism and became an atheist. He went on to read physics at Hertford College, Oxford, and electronic engineering at Southampton. While being combative against the Christian faith he heard the gospel and was granted repentance unto life and earnestly embraced the truths revived at the Reformation.
Kevin was a founder member of Bury St Edmunds Presbyterian Church in 1991, a congregation of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in England and Wales, where he serves as an ordained presbyter. In business he practises as a chartered engineer, and worked first on radar systems development in Essex before moving into the design and manufacture of electronic components in Suffolk. Kevin is married to Margaret, and they have a grown up daughter, Agnes.
